What We Do
Education Law Partners specializes in advocating for special needs children in educational matters. We are among the most experienced special education attorneys in Pennsylvania. Since 1989, we have helped thousands of students from preschool to age 21 obtain the individualized educational program (IEP) and services they needed to be successful in school and in life. Our clients include a wide range of exceptional young people, from those with mild delays to others with severe disabilities.
As special education lawyers, we work closely with a variety of educational experts, including school psychologists, speech-language pathologists, reading specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists and behavior specialists. Often these professionals guide us in understanding the unique needs of each child we represent. In almost every case, we are able to achieve our clients’ goals through negotiation, IEP meetings, informal settlement conferences, and mediation. When an amicable resolution is not possible, we litigate vigorously for our clients at due process hearings and in state and federal courts.
